Announcing Wad-Free® for Blankets & Duvet Covers - The heavy-duty solution to wadded-up bedding!

After Achieving Fame for Solving the Laundry Room Nightmare of Tangled, Knotted, and Damp Bed Sheets, Wad-Free® Debuts a Heavy-Duty Solution

Wad-Free® for Blankets & Duvet Covers shortens drying time, saves energy, time, and money

Cyndi Bray was fed up with all the time and energy she was wasting when her sheets balled-up into a damp, tangled mess inside the clothes dryer. She also knew they weren’t exactly clean when they came out of the washer in coiled-up ropes. Since there was no solution to this ubiquitous problem, she invented one: Wad-Free® for Bed Sheets, which quickly became a best-selling sensation, and even caused a Shark fight on Season 13 of Shark Tank. Wad-Free ultimately secured a deal with Kevin O’Leary, joining his portfolio of sustainability products.

Now Cyndi is answering customers’ demands for a way to stop heavier bedding items like blankets and duvet covers from tangling and knotting in the washer and dryer with the introduction of Wad-Free for Blankets & Duvet Covers.

Wad-Free for Blankets & Duvet Covers attaches with up to eight points of contact to inhibit their ability to twist around themselves and wad-up in the washer and the dyer. This means loads of laundry come out cleaner, a properly loaded washing machine stays balanced, and everything dries up to 75% faster.

The product is intended for blankets and duvet covers without a loopy/loose weave or embellishments (i.e., this is not for Gramma’s crocheted blankets or beaded embroidery) and is to be used on the “Gentle/Delicates” cycle.

After solving the problem of wadded-up bed sheets, I set out to tackle the next challenge – heavier bedding that can be even harder to pull out of the washer when the bedding is wet and the machine goes off-balance, and that can take hours to dry,” said Cyndi. The added size, weight, and thickness is managed with this heavy-duty version, and the attachment mechanism will be familiar to current users of the bedsheet version. Wad-Free for Blankets & Duvet Covers drastically shortens dry time and makes the task of washing heavy bedding less arduous!”

Wad-Free for Blankets & Duvet Covers is reusable, made in the U.S.A, and is available for $29.99 exclusively at wadfree.com. Combo Packs with Wad-Free® for Bed Sheets are also available for $44.99 exclusively at wadfree.com

About Wad-Free®

Despite purchasing a high-capacity, high-efficiency, Energy-Star washer and dryer set, Cyndi Bray came to the sad realization that laundering her sheets was ironically an all-day affair. As most every other laundry-doer experienced, her sheets always wadded up, resulting in copious amounts of wasted time and energy. Without a background in product development, engineering, or manufacturing, Cyndi independently designed and invented the first-ever Wad Preventer™ for the washing machine and dryer, bringing it to market in just 14 months from concept to its June 2020 pandemic launch. And the rest is laundry history.
