WHAT IS A WAD?

A wad is that dreaded twisted, tangled, balled-up, clumped, and/or mangled mass that forms in the laundry process. You know, that thing that drives you mad!

Wads in the washer inhibit full cleaning, cause harsh wrinkles, and can make your machine shake and walk across the room as it goes off-balance. That leaves you wrestling with wet sheets to untangle the wad...and often having to push the appliance that has shimmied itself away from the wall back to its proper place. 

Wads in the dryer inhibit even and complete drying, requiring you to shake out the sheets and re-run the dryer...often several times...just to dry the load.

WHAT IS A WAD PREVENTER™? (ALSO KNOWN AS A BED SHEET DETANGLER™)

The Wad-Free wad preventer™ (bed sheet detangler™) is a patented, made-in USA laundry gadget that stops wads from forming in both the washing machine and dryer. The Wad-Free allows laundry to come out cleaner, keeps the washer from going off-balance, and dries up to 75% faster with fewer wrinkles...without having to shake out the sheets. These actions save time, money, energy...and sanity...often resulting in a spontaneous #WadFreeHappyDance™.

IS WAD-FREE EASY TO USE?

Yes, most peoople find Wad-Free easy to use. There may be a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure it out, Wad-Free for Bed Sheets can be attached easily in seconds per sheet. The Wad-Free for Bed Sheets was designed so that anyone young or old with most any hand strength can use it.

If you find the Wad-Free hard to use at first, please note that the tabs loosen up a bit after a few uses. In the meantime, placing Wad-Free in a warm dryer for a minute prior to use will soften the tabs and make it easier to use.

WHAT TYPE OF APPLIANCES WILL WAD-FREE WORK IN?

The Wad-Free® works in both front-loading washers and top-loading washers with and without an agitator as long as there is ample room to fit the bedding. Never overload appliances.

IS THE WAD-FREE LOUD?

No. You might hear an occasional tap, but the Wad-Free® is far quieter than using tennis balls or dryer balls.

WHAT IS WAD-FREE MADE OUT OF?

The Wad-Free® is made of two different types of plastic. The base is made from polypropylene (PP). The tabs are made from a custom-compounded thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that is oil-free, odor-free, colorless, and non-toxic. All materials are USA sourced.

DOES WAD-FREE CONTAIN LATEX, HARMFUL PLASTICS, OR PVC?

No. The Wad-Free® does not contain latex, PVC, BPA, or phthalates.

Wad-Free is made from custom-compounded materials to be safe for fabric, appliances,  humans, and the environment...and of course to tolerate the entire laundry process.

IS WAD-FREE REUSABLE?

Yes, the Wad-Free® is durable, reusable, and will last for many, many, MANY loads.

HOW MANY PACKAGES DO I NEED?

Each package of Wad-Free for Bed Sheets contains two wad preventers, enough for two sheets. Every sheet in the load requires its own Wad-Free®, so if you are laundering just one bed (two sheets), you need one package. For two beds (four sheets), you need two packages. For three beds, three packages. You get the idea.

Each package of Wad-Free for Blankets & Duvet Covers contains one heavy-duty wad preventer.

WHERE IS WAD-FREE MADE?

Wad-Free is manufactured in the United States...Denver, Colorado to be precise. All our materials are sourced in the USA. Our packaging is printed in Colorado as well, and the inserts are printed in Colorado and Minnesota.

You have a lot of warnings about following fabric care instructions, and not using Wad-Free® with rayon from bamboo or eucalyptus. Are there a lot of problems?

No. Only 0.02% of customers have reported problems. Most were sheets containing rayon, or people who confirmed that they didn't follow the fabric care instructions and/or Wad-Free's product instructions.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! Wad-Free® ships internationally with all duties and taxes paid. Our international shipping partner, Passport Shipping, is the seller of record for all UK and EU orders. There is a maximum of 10 products per international order, except to UK and EU where the maximum per order is 5. (Orders over the limit will be asked to cancel and revise quantities.)

Do you ship orders to the UK & EU? If so, how will orders be shipped? 

Yes, we ship to the UK & EU. To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be the Seller for all orders to the UK for orders under £135 and orders to the EU for orders €150 and Under.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING, AND WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

All items are eligible to ship FREE to the United States with economy shipping only. Paid options are also available for you at check-out to specify your carrier or to expedite shipping.  We strive to ship orders received M-F by 12PM Mountain Time within 1 business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail when your order ships which will include tracking information. Please be patient with the shipping carriers, who are experiencing unprecedented times and delays. Carrier delivery estimates are only that, not guarantees.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
